Ah, brings me back to eating tuna three times a day in the Maldives. There are many (delicious) ways of preparing it. Nevertheless, hard to believe that I still choose to eat it.

Great quiz, but I have to agree, the smaller countries shouldn't be filled in and the time limit should be upped to allow for the fact there are now more answers to guess.

Add back the island countries - everyone on this website is a geography nerd, we should know the island countries.

Did you get the idea from me to mine data from invaluable resource FAOSTAT? I've noticed a lot of featured quizzes lately with them as a source. If so, how come you still haven't featured my two quizzes about pork consumption? Pork is at least 3x more interesting than fish. I made the first one about 5 years ago and I think at the time you said that it would just be another "fill in the country" quiz and thus not interesting.

This quiz is like a "Countries of the World and Oh By the Way We Filled In Like 100 For You" quiz. It defeats the purpose.

Wow, I am REALLY surprised China wasn't on the list. And I'm not surprised in the least that Iceland is in second. I can't think of many traditional dishes (as meals, not just solo ingredients) that don't involve some kind of seafood. Heck, you can easily buy minke whale on skewers and then there's the whole meaning of hvalraki ...

There are 1.3 billion people in the country, so China may eat a lot of fish in total but not per capita. And actually livestock and poultry make up the majority of meat ingredients in Chinese dishes. And for the inland regions seafood are really expensive, like twice as expensive as beef...

I like how we finally have quizzes where Tuvalu and other tiny Pacific islands are answers, but I agree with just about everyone else on the comments list on the 'giving answers away' point.
