This quiz cannot be recommended. There are many misspellings, and apparently who made this has not understanding of scientific names and terms. Some of those are species names, some mix order and family terms.
For Crocodilia Niloticus, il lost one minut because I tried Nile Crocodile and the answer was Crocodile. Crocodilia Niloticus is the name for the Nile Crocodile.
21/26 I got seahorse, but missed the other bottom 5 (typed like 8 rodents, but not squirrel..) I allways thought the word in english was vultures, so I only tried variations of that ( I guess a specefic species is meant here. But that is not very consistent with the other questions, there are for instance several types of crocodile, the nile crocodile is described here, but the answer is shown as the family name.)
Panthera pardus refers to the leopard, subspecies of which can be found in Africa and across central and eastern Asia. "Panther" can refer to several different bigs cat species including mountain lions (native to America) and the black phase of jaguars or leopards.
I enjoyed the quiz, it is not easy to put together a quiz like this as there are different spellings of names in different lists as I found out when setting a quiz dealing with scientific names of animals. Even with my limited knowledge of the same I managed 23 / 26 and have not grumbles.
