I agree with you on Kiribati and Mauritius, but Australia could be pronounced Aus-tral-i-a, which I believe is the correct pronunciation, though practically everyone (including myself) say Aus-tral-ya

I looked up the amounts of syllables in each. Australia and Mauritius have three, so I put them in the three-syllable countries quiz. Kiribati can be pronounced two ways, it is in both quizzes.

Fun Quiz! A couple things, though. 1. I'm not sure if "United States" should count. Technically, many countries are the united states, for example, Mexico is actually the "United States of Mexico." So I think, when referring to the USA, it should actually be counted as nine syllables. 2. Any chance countries like "The Netherlands" will work? You have "El Salvador," so I was wondering if the same rule could be applied here. Other than that, great quiz.
