I know right? I keep getting like 96% of the languages, but then the time runs out. I'm not a slow typer, I just make a lot of mistakes when going full speed.
Because they don't have an official language. Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Eritrea, Mexico, and the Netherlands should also be grayed out.
According to the Languages of the World Quiz, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Eritrea, Mexico, Netherlands also don't have an official language. It would be nice if the quizzes agreed with each other.
Dutch person here: Dutch is our official language. In some parts of our kingdom, there are additional official languages (English and Papiamentu in certain Carribean islands and Frisian in Friesland), but that is on top of Dutch, which is official everywhere, even our Carribean islands
I complain all the time about this and it is never addressed. This is another typing speed test. 90 seconds is ridiculous to a slow typist. At least offer a timer free version. This site should be about learning, not a competition. It is so arrogant to not respond or acknowledge that a lot of people just don't type very well. They don't even tech typing in school anymore.I see someone else here has the same complaint.
If you don't and just want to learn, go on and click the time-free option, which is always available.
The fact that you protest about the arrogance and competitiveness of this type of quizzes just because you want your 5 points so bad is hilariously hypocritical.
That's one of many changes. This quiz has now been put fully into sync with our "Official Languages of the World" quiz. Thanks to Vicky who made this possible.
You can omit Amharic, and also replace the Croatian, Montenegrin etc. "languages" with Serbo-Croatian. In any case, it's definitely not easy for everyone to type all this in 90 seconds.
Sadly, once again, the scoring is more about it being a typing speed test rather then knowledge. Why not base it on a more average typist and those with age-impaired evesight? The fast typists will still bask in their score and perhaps aim to do it quicker, but for me it just causes frustration.
Took me 14 attempts. Had to check on Mali since my guesses were wrong: Tamazight, Arabic and French. I þought I had already guessed Bambara, so I didn't check again. I suppose I was wrong. Even ðen, ðe clock was a nightmare to beat. But finally!!!
I like this quiz but the time is too limited

This gets you to 100 % fairly easy. You still gotta type fast though
G G. Excellent quiz
