Country and Capital Neighbour Connect with Jumps and Disappearing World Map: Next Alphabetically

In this quiz countries and capitals are combined: countries are 'blue' and capitals are 'pink'.

Always choose the neighbour that comes next after your current answer in alphabetical order: so for example after Qatar you'd have Quito if Qatar and Ecuador bordered (not Ecuador).

A neighbour is any of the following:
- a bordering country
- the capital of a bordering country
- the corresponding country/capital of your last answer

When left with no neighbors jump to a different island! Go to the next capital/country in alphabetical order that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Start with the first country/capital of the world in alphabetical order: ABU DHABI!
Dubious India/Sri Lanka and Qatar/UAE borders are not considered
For multiple capitals countries the following were chosen: La Paz, Porto-Novo and Pretoria

Nothing like a quiz that gets harder and harder the further you get in. 303 first try, and I'll keep trying. I absolutely love this series.

Thanks! At least for now I've run out of ideas for the series. If you have any ideas let me know!

Can you make it clear that you're including overseas territories like gibraltar?

The quiz seems "broken". The fourth entry is Riyadh, but after that, it wants Sana'a as the next choice -- even though Amman should be next. (Also, Baghdad, Doha, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kuwait City and Qatar all would come before Sana'a.) I got frustrated that it wouldn't take Amman, so tried to skip down to the next group of countries, which should start with Abuja, but it doesn't appear until near the bottom of the third column -- about 140th on the list.

in this quiz 'next alphabetically' means that if you are in Riyadh, an answer starting with S will be preferred to one starting with A because S is just after R. I tried putting an example in th enotes to make it clear but not sure what the best wording would be to explain it. Thanks

Got it. I thought I was taking your other quiz that uses the "first alphabetically" approach. (I love that quiz.) Maybe say in the instructions "first alphabetically, not next", or emphasize in your example that the answer would be Quito, NOT Ecuador.
