Visit All Countries: move to bordering or jump to almost bordering country
Start in Afghanistan. Out of its bordering countries choose the first in alphabetical order whose name comes after Afghanistan. Keep doing this following these rules:
- if there's no bordering country whose name comes after in alphabetical order, choose the first one in alphabetical order
- if there's no bordering country, try again with countries bordering bordering countries, etc
- if there's no bordering country whose name comes after in alphabetical order, choose the first one in alphabetical order
- if there's no bordering country, try again with countries bordering bordering countries, etc
Country Transits Distance: number of land borders you have to cross to reach a country (moving between different parts of the same country, eg going from France to French Guiana to St Martin does not count as a move)
You are shown the first letter of each country as a hint
The following 'uncertain' borders are considered in this quiz: India-Sri Lanka and Qatar-UAE
'Unreachable' countries are excluded (most of island countries)

I made it, but it was tight on time. Maybe add 2 minutes? Especially because it takes a minute to understand the instructions.

Thanks for your feedback! I think time is tight but doable. In these quizzes I try and make it tight so that if you don't make it you can try again until you've learnt your geography better. You're certainly right about the minute for reading instructions... there should be a 'start' button that you press after reading them or something! I'll see if other people say anything about time and then decide. Thanks again!
