Two comments: (1) Yes, as mentioned in previous comments, Nakhchivan belongs to Azerbaijan, not Armenia, and (2) "Nagorno" is from Russian for "mountainous", so when they use one local word to describe the place, it's "Karabakh". So maybe the clue should be "Nagorno _____" instead.
Yes, but the problematic portion of the question reads Armenia's "Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic". The way it is stated makes it seem as though the territory is owned by Armenia.
I agree - rephrase it to "... such as Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic".
As it is, it suggests it's an Armenian exclave inside Azerbaijan. It's surely just a mistake, even though it was pointed out and responded to a while ago.
It says "Armenia's 'Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic'" which makes it seem like the land is part of Armenia, when in reality it is an exclave of Azerbaijan. The question should be reworded to say "Azerbaijan's 'Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic'".
The "Petroleum industry in Azerbaijan" Wikipedia page does say: "By 1901, Baku produced more than half of the world's oil", but it also says Baku produced "55% of all Russian oil." For these 2 statements to both be correct, Russia must have produced at least 90% of the world's oil. These figures are incompatible with the graph on the front page of "http://archives.datapages.com/data/meta/phi/v15-2014/sorenson_firstpage.pdf".
Baku could have produced 55% of Russian oil AND oil to a lot of other countries, supplying half the worlds demand. This is not the same as saying that Russia produced 90%
With 196 rolls of the dice, the likelihood that current events would be concerned with a country on the day they were featured here was fairly high. But which ones it would be wasn't foreseeable, especially when we are talking about countries 3 months (OK, 90 days is slightly less) into the country-per-day decreasing in population size ordering of the featuring.
The only deliberate day-country match seems to be the starting Day 1 on the 1st of July, so that the 4th largest country, the USA, could be featured on their national day - something that's been in the calendar for 200-odd years, unlike a surprise thawing of a frozen conflict that wasn't really foreseeable even last week.
I know I shouldn't, but I love the timing when this quiz is featured! XD Also, wow! 17/18! This is my best one yet! I'm surprised I know so much about Azerbaijan!

Aliyevs were on power long enough, could be a question. Or the city that has no connection to cannabis 😃
And after asking for the sea, you could ask for the capital's elevation rounded to 10 meters 😈

Nakchivan legally belongs to Azerbaijan and is populated almost entirely by ethnic Azerbaijani. There is no question.
