Aaargh! I tried about 10 different spellings of Huron except the right one.

Maybe accept Xanti for Xanthi? (Got it anyway, just a suggestion to help out others.)

The term "Channel Islands" refers specifically to the archipelago off the coast of Normandy. The Isle of Wight is an island in the English channel, but not a Channel Island.

How is the Sunni question related to geography?
+1
Level 72
May 27, 2021
Human geography - it means anything to do with people or places (so everything basically) is OK for a geography quiz...

This one was good, though; it felt a lot less like a general knowledge quiz than many other geography quizzes.

+1
Level 67

Human geography doesn't mean "anything to do with people OR places." It's a study of many aspects of humanity and the world through people's relationship with places or location.

It's a bit of a stretch to say the question has anything to do with any kind of geography, human geography or not. Not that I think it's much of an issue. But the question could be made more excellent by asking the branch of Islam most popular in , for example.

Or the question could be unquestionably to do with geography. I can see hard thinking over answers for 'X' and maybe 'Z' but 'S'?

Sardinia, Sicily, Southern Ocean, Saskatchewan, Sea, Sandhill, Spit, Shore, Sahara, Salish, Savu, Solomon, South China, Sulu... Strait... Actually, I think there are limits to 'S'. I cannot think of anymore.
