Aaargh! I tried about 10 different spellings of Huron except the right one.
Maybe accept Xanti for Xanthi? (Got it anyway, just a suggestion to help out others.)

Beginning of a river - spring? stream? Maybe not stream, but a spring could be it. Also: there's no province called "Holland" in the Netherlands, just like there's no state called Carolina.

Agree with spring.
Holland is considered a region in the Netherlands though, but mainly by those who don't live there. A lot of people in the north, east and south of the Netherlands consider the region called 'de Randstad' (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and surrounding areas) to be 'Holland'

"Holland as one of its regions" isn't a good clue for N because there is no region called Holland; only North Holland and South Holland.

North and South Holland are provinces. "Region" is a perfectly acceptable term for Holland.
