The Colossus of Rhodes is one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World. How could you not know?

To be fair, not everybody knows all 7 wonders of the world. I know the Pyramids at Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Library of Alexandria.

Accept Vesuvius for lava-spewing mountain? I thought a particular volcano was meant. Didn't even think to put in "volcano."

It took me awhile to get more general than Vesuvius, too. Finally, I was like "Doh!"

But Vesuvius usually produces pyroclastic flows, not lava flows.

Dec 23, 2016
True, and when it says lava-spewing mountain, is Vesuvius the only one? No, so it's prompting you to be more general.

Circumferences are largest? Don't you mean circumferences are longest? Circumferences only have length, not area!
+3
level 61
Jan 9, 2016
A circumference is a distance. Distances can be large, a word which doesn't specifically have to refer to area.

How is mesa the least guessed answer? More people have heard of Utrecht than mesas?!
+1
level 65
Mar 5, 2018
Have only heard of mesas in Finnish and German (pöytävuori and Tafelberg), didn't know the English name. (Should have gotten it through Latin.) So it can be a problem for those who speak germanic or slavic etc. languages.
