Couldn't DE also be Democratic Republic of the Congo?

Thanks - I've made an adjustment to avoid that ambiguity.

I believe that The Democratic Republic of the Congo would DRC, not DE.

Maybe because many people have been to paradise, but they've never been to ME. (If you are too young to remember those lyrics, keep it to yourself.)

Me too, it's a shame when a good quiz becomes a typing test.
+3
Level 62

The two minute timer wasn't supposed to reduce it to a typing test; it's just there to provide a fun beat-the-clock challenge given that this is a relatively easier version of the other quizzes in this category: Countries by First and Last Letter) and Countries by Last Two Letters. The average score for this quiz is currently several points higher than these other two variants.

This isn't a typing test. There is ample time to type them all.

Time seems reasonable to me, I could ve used more and gotten the last two/three, but I think a quiz is timed well when you just miss out on the last two (while not rushing)

The three out of four times I've completed the quiz (in the course of 22 months), I've done it in 1:19, 1:21 and 1:19 again. I don't think there's any other quiz where I've been this consistent.

those were the same 3 I nearly missed this time! But finally managed to get 100% with 2 seconds to spare. Had to pause to think about LU for a while. And only got ME after going through the whole alphabet in my head, MEA, MEB, MEC... so that took 30 seconds before I got to MEX.

I can't believe I missed Mexico! And by missed it, what I really mean is I can't believe I remembered it at the very last second and was one letter short of actually getting it. I had "Mexic" typed out when I ran out of time.

Funny how the three I missed were also the lowest scorers, really didnt expect that ! Ok voor trinidad it is understandable.

Perhaps add a caveat for countries that can start with "The"? I understand that "The" Gambia and "The" Netherlands are typically treated as not having the word "The" for these kinds of quizzes, but it's still somewhat confusing.
