Argh, only got the 9-letter answer! If I signified the Bangui question I probably would've got it. Also, why was 10 made before this one?

Fun, as usual! As a temporary current Turkish resident though, I'd better point out Turkey has only ever been ruled by presidents since its creation in 1923. Heaps of other countries in this part of the world have been ruled by emirs though, including two (Kuwait, Qatar) through to the present day.

Man, the Paris question made me think of the Greek mythology character, so I was looking for Trojan war stuff.

Never occured to me to think of the French landmark because it's never Anglicised. I speak French so it's a separate part of brain I guess...
