Pop-Up Mystery Categories #2

1. Starting with the visible clue CIKS, unscramble each common word as it pops up on the screen.
2. Criss-cross the screen, solving the scrambles, then solve the mystery categories that generate each column of words.
Each category is a single word that logically relates to all ten words in its column. Can you solve them?
If a scramble has more than one possible answer, you must search until you find the correct one!

Great fun!

I wonder if perhaps you can somehow find a way of being able to go ahead if there's one word which you just can't guess.

Don't know if this is deliberate or not but for example when I had to unscramble 'HIMST' I knew the starting letter was S because it had to be be between 'Out' and 'Swan' which had been guessed already.

Getting stranded on an answer you can't guess is a drawback with these pop-up quizzes - I could try and think of a way around that. At least in this quiz, the alphabetical order of words helps with knowing the starting letter, as you noticed.

I figured each categories before finishing it. That also gives a big clue.
