Hi Thorvald.
Yes, I'm on my very long trip right now. I haven't yet made it to Poland on this trip, but I was there before in 2004. I spent a little time in Warsaw and Lublin and about a week around Hel, Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot. Plus a side trip to Malbork.
My main impression of Poland was that the people there were very friendly. I made some good friends and had a lot of good experiences because of this. Hel was pleasant. Gdansk was pretty. Warsaw- a little depressing, but not so bad for big Eastern European cities. The food was good. And of course the women are very beautiful. I'm looking forward to going back.

I went back. My return to Hel and Warsaw was extremely emotional for me, I wasn't expecting that. I left a token of my visit in Hel. Don't want to get into much more detail as it's a bit personal. Going back to Lublin was somewhat disappointing. I found the person I was looking for there but she didn't want to see me. I visited Cracow for the first time. It was a very pretty city but so full of obnoxious drunken Irish tourists that this kind of ruined it. One of the most sleepless nights in a hostel I've ever had there. My visit to Auschwitz the next day was powerful and chilling, though. Overall quite an experience.

Oh, that's a pity you didn't let me know when you were coming to Cracow. I live here now so I could show you around the city or have some beers with you. Come back to the city in spring or summer - it's even prettier with all the parks thriving full of life. I hope you will come back to Poland again. There are so many places to visit that basically anyone can find something interesting. And if you'd like, let me know in advance, so maybe we could meet :)

Also, maybe you should accept Copernicus for Kopernik? Spelling is hard enough on this quiz as it is! :)
