5 Days in France
Day 5 of my trip was easily my favorite. Beautiful beaches and a rich history define the amazing walled city of Saint-Malo. This coastal city in the Brittany region was founded more than 2000 years ago and has been home to famous explorers such as Jacques Cartier and Louis-Antoine de Bougainville, as well as many privateers. Enjoy all of my pictures I took as I explored this incredible place.
Walking the Wall
The wall around Saint-Malo is so fun to walk around. The view of the ocean from this site is amazing and gorgeous, and the beaches are absolutely magnificent.
My group spent about an hour exploring this wall. Taking pictures of statues, beaches, and architecture in this beautiful place, all below.
The Streets of Saint-Malo
The streets of Saint-Malo are largely aimed towards tourists. Clothing stores and souvenir shops. Restaurants and candy stores. But all of these stores are located in incredible buildings.
My group stopped in so many of these places, and I had so much fun. I got this amazing ice cream, which I really did enjoy.
The End I guess...
Writing this has made me realize that I really do not have a whole lot to say about this day of the trip, even though it was my favorite. That actually makes sense, because it was really a more lowkey day. We spent all day in this small walled city. We walked along the wall, saw the shops, and ate crepes for dinner. It was not as eventful as other days, but I just loved the site. I think that the pictures speak for themselves, so I will put more at the end of this. Again, I don't have tons to say but I want to make it clear that this is because of the nature of this day, and not a reflection of how I feel about this city. This was absolutely my favorite place I went on this place.
Until next week,
Rosie
I presume that is chocalate on the crepe and not tar ?
