Part 2 of my series. Due to some suggestions, I will try to be making it daily for all 50 states.

- It is a felony to wrestle a bear in Alabama.

- It's the only state to have an alcoholic beverage as their state drink.

- It was the first state to declare Christmas a legal holiday

- The first ever 911 call was in Alabama

- Alabama was actually the first state to celebrate Mardi Gras, not in New Orleans.

- The state was named after the Alabama river
