Part 7 of 50 (Maybe 51 if I do Washington D.C as the last one. Comment if you want me to do D.C as the last one.) of the series. This time going to the state of Colorado.
- The part of Colorado with the mountains is six times the size of Switzerland.
- Colorado contains 75% of the land area that has an altitude of over 10,000 feet.
- Colorado is one of the states in the famous "Four Corners".(For those that don't know, the Four Corners is a place where you can stand somewhere and be in 4 different states at once.)
- Colorado has one of the most popular national parks.(Rocky National Park)
- Colorado is known as the "Centennial State"since it was admitted statehood 100 years after we declared independence.
- The name cheeseburger was first coined in Denver, Colorado.
- Colorado is the only state in history to turn down the Olympics.
