The 131st Word Search's secret word is weird.
I hope I'm not learning you anything by saying that Daily Word Search is a Word Search that happens daily. For those who don't know, it's a JetPunk minigame where you have to find some words in a grid. Based on the day of the week, there may be some different themes. But if you knew that, maybe you were not aware that once you finished the grid, you can look for the remaining letters, and they will almost always form a word or a sentence, that can relate to the theme. I say almost, because in some grids, there was only 1 or 2 letters remaining, so there isn't really a "word". But I, noting everything, created a file that reference almost every of these secret word/sentence since 7th of March. And so I can tell you that the secret "word" of the 131st Word Search was... "FBCSFGBIC". And what's the meaning of this word, you might ask ? Well, it means nothing, neither in English, nor in French, nor in Javanese nor in anything. I even tried changing the letters by the ones that follow or precedes them. It still doesn't mean anything. If you have any ideas on how to possibly decode this 9-letter garbage word, please let me know about it in the comments !
Anyway, what was the theme of the 131st Word Search? That'd probably help "cracking" the code.
I have tried to put a secret message using the remaining letters (in order) for every word search since March.
I can confirm in this case I just forgot to add one because I was short on time (so it prefilled the gaps with random letters).
Now I know people are following along, I vow to include one for every grid. So if it's not obvious to begin with, then it's probably because I've started including some coded ones! (I already have an idea for an encrypted code for next week... good luck! I'll probably make a quick blog about it too for fun.)
(CotW is a common acronym for the Countries of the World Quiz!)
I wonder if an update in the future may include a box to type in the secret word ?
**Goes back to check today's grid.......no spare letters...grrr**
Also in this Sunday it's pretty common that there's not any remaining letters.
@toowise, there won't be an update in the future for that, mainly because it's a fun little addition but I don't want to force it upon people.
@DDD the "NotOnlyFifteen" was also related to the fact the previous 3 days had 15 words :)
Also, Sunday I try and challenge myself to purposely have no remaining letters, since it is the day I have the most freedom in word choice (as no theme, mostly). It also means no letters leftover would cause a problem for any input after a word search.
