I want to make a comment on something I've noticed here on JetPunk. My account has been mostly dormant for some time, though I do occasionally read a blog or two. And I must say they're quite good, very little content can be ruled "bad" in any sense of the word. But that's not what I'm here to talk about. No, it's the comments. A lot of people think it's their responsibility to harass their fellow users for making content they don't completely agree with. I hate to make examples, but some series have completely stopped because their posting schedule was a little silly and people bullied them for it. Now, I encourage criticism, yes, but can we just tone it down a little? Nobody actually cares if "your formatting could be better", or if "this blog was not necessary." Let their bloggers enjoy their blogs.
Another thing, the Blog Games. Lovely series, it's really excellent. But I feel that some users have gotten a little too invested. Sometimes I just stop reading a blog because of the big bold letters at the top stating it's "for the Blog Games." Make blogs out of your heart, not for cheap internet points. And don't quit JetPunk because you weren't in the Blog Games. That's absurd.
Perhaps the greatest irony of the universe is when a pack of users come together to spam comments saying "this blog is spam." If you don't like a blog don't read it. Simple. Another thing that really sets me buzzing is when users comment the same thing over, and over, and over ad infinitum, in hopes of accomplishing something. You're not getting someone unbanned by being obnoxious about it.
That's all for today. Not trying to call anyone out, just my two cents.
(Also, technically no blogs are necessary. Neither are any comments, or quizzes, or anything really.)

As you said at the end, there is no need for quizzes, blogs, etc., we just do these for fun and entertainmentalthough JetPunk is not your personal playgroundHonestly, I feel somewhat privileged for saying this. My old content from 2020 (and as far as 2021 even) is pretty poor in quality in my eyes. I also did act really immaturely at times. (dumb comments, that "funny quizzes" blog, etc.) Yet, I somehow dodged the bullets (which I probably deserved) and was instead greeted with genuinely helpful advice and a welcoming community. Grateful for that honestly.

Step 4: Find a copyrighted (possibly they were) image on Google after learning how to add images from other people comments

Were also the comments that helped me to improve, and stop begging for suggestions. Hopefully, the next bloggers that will come will also have the support I once had.
All Criticism isn’t bad, like Constructive Criticism which we all know what it is. But some people don’t exactly understand who to give people the Constructive Criticism. You should say it in a nice and friendly way. For example: “This was a good blog. As a suggestion for your future blogs, maybe make the formatting slightly better just to add that final touch :)”
I don’t really know exactly, but something like that.
This is exactly the problem the Blogs on JetPunk, and it always has been the main issue. It's why most quizzer's don't venture to the blogs section, they see this area as childish and cult-like, and that's because it is.
Personally, I enjoy most blogs on JetPunk, but then feel worse after reading comments. And it's always the same people, they will refuse to accept they're the problem because they believe they're "helping". You're not.
And since you mention blog games, that series has become an utterly bias and pointless series now, because the "reviewers" themselves can't even be bothered to comment on blogs with more than a word or two, and act as if we should care about their opinion. There's nothing objective or consensus about the games, they're simply the (heavily biased and ill-informed) opinions of Chen and Ethaboo.
Blogs don't need "fixing", the commenters who sour and diminish the comment section do.
People may not always have something constructive to say, but I feel as if there are a lot of interesting discussions that never happen because people hyper-fixate themselves on the blog itself rather than the discussions that could emerge from the blog.
If you go on a quiz with a lot of takes, there are genuinely interesting conversations and debates. However, for some reason, we don't get that here. To me, the RUB could be so much better if the comment sections sparked interesting and constructive dialogue; yet, it never does.
I started a series about islands because they interest me. I don't particularly care about what comments I get, although to be fair most have been encouraging.
My grammar and formatting aren't the best, I will admit, I'm a (almost) 60 year old truck driver. I'm not Shakespeare. I tend to write as I think and sometimes this isn't the best way. But that's my way. Take it or leave it. You're lucky the blogs aren't laced with expletives !
I will be back blogging soon, maybe a couple of weeks or so, because I enjoy the research and learning new things. The writing part is secondary. I only do that to help me remember what I have learnt. If it informs and entertains just one other person, then I consider that a bonus.

Only comment if you can add to the blog, such as an experience you had on, in my case, one of the islands mentioned.
Be constructive by all means, but be nice.
Remenber it takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown .
I don't know why I wrote that but it seemed to fit, sorry for rambling on, I'm done now.
