Montana: 24/7 Wall street released a study which ranked Montana dead last for safe driving. Montana has about 27 road deaths per 100,000 Montanans. This is even scarier when you consider, only a little over a million people live in Montana. And while the national rate of seat belt usage is 87% nation wide, Montana's is 74%, even though Montana law requires seat belts.

Nebraska: Nebraska's Pre-K programs are the only ones in the country that spend less than $2,000 per child in state funding.

North Dakota: In the last few years, North Dakota's GDP has declined by 5%!

Ohio: A 2015 study by The Natural Resources Defense Council ranked Ohio the worst state to live in if you have allergies or asthma. A 2018 study by The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America ranked 5 of the worst cities to live in, in the Midwest. 4 of them were Ohio cities!

Oklahoma: In the least few decades, life expectancy has improved in almost every state. Oklahoma's increased by just 3.8% since 1980!

Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania's gas tax is the highest in the country, 58.7 cents a gallon!

Rhode Island: Us News ranks Rhode Island the worst state for transportation. It's also ranked the worst for road and bridge quality.

South Carolina: On average, South Carolinans pay around $146 on energy bills. That's the highest in the country. Some states don't even have half that.

Tennessee: Tennessee has the least dentists per capita, and (according to Wallethub) is one of the worst states for overall dental health.

Wyoming: Only 72.8% of infants are vaccinated for DTaP (according to 24/7 Wall Street).

But even though there's something ugly about each state, there are many more pro's than con's. And if you saw something in here that shocked you, don't let that keep you out of that state. I'm a North Carolinian. And I was shocked to find out that we had the highest eviction rate in the country. But I won't let that change my mind. Especially in the times of this Global Pandemic, we need to come together. This blog post is simply meant for the enjoyment of its readers.

Very Cool! (Just a suggestion) I think you should do the same thing, but for the countries of the world (or if you're really up for a challenge, all major cities of the world).

Really? I was going to do the opposite of this quiz. The best thing about every state. I'll think about it though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, some aren't so bad. Case in point in...

Colorado: Those who aren't sensitive are fine.

Florida: For those who hate reading.

Hawaii: Reason? Fun and parties make you stay up late.

Maine: That's not a bad quality, really. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist. It's just that it's not really a bad quality.

Massachusetts: Well, at lest there's less drunks.

Minnesota: If you like the cold...

New York: It's bad, but unfair in this sense. New York City would obviously have lots of homeless people. It's the biggest city in the country, after all! % homeless is a better measure.

Ohio: And if you don't have allergies or asthma?

Oklahoma: Still an improvement.

As a proud fan of the University of North Carolina, i'm going to have to agree. But Generally speaking, I've got nothing against NJ (except that they elected Chris Christie).

Colorado's air is fine as long as you don't go too high too fast. Unless you go from sea level straight to a hike up a mountain you won't have any problems. And acclimatization is always possible, sometimes it just takes a day or so and then there's no problem (again, unless you go up to 14,000+ feet). I'd say a worse thing about the state is that it smells like weed everywhere haha.
