Football is one of the oldest sports in history, better known to the rest of the world as football. Dated back to 206 B.C., Chinese troops played Tsu'chu 'kick the ball' and were supplemented by their Han Dynasty training units. Tsu'chu was the first to not allow his hands, whereas many other ancient societies played games that involved a ball. The aim was a net connected to two bamboo poles and raised in the air by about 30 feet. This contrasts very much with contemporary targets, which are 8 feet high and 24 feet large on the floor. The specific way of playing a ball around one's feet expanded all over the globe.

Games were played in cities that rival groups ran against each other throughout the Medieval Period in Europe, particularly in England. The name was Folkball. This one. The objective was to place the ball in a defined position, generally in the residence of the captain, to score a point. This frequently means a few kilometers away from places to be scored. Games often have resulted in low match scores as the ball progress is violent and uncomfortable. The game would generate huge upheaval in the entire cities it took place without any clear rules, which would result in a prohibition in the 14th century.

Early years

There are a series of references in many different places of the world to traditional, ancient, or prehistoric ball games. The standardization of these sports in English public schools throughout the 19th century can be traced back to contemporary football regulations. This regulation of football has expanded to places of British influence outside the direct dominant Empire due to the expansion and cultural effect of the British Empire. Founded in England in 1888, the Football League became the first of several professional soccer organizations. During the 20th century, different football types grew to be one of the world's most popular team sports.

The history of football

More rules were imposed and historical sites were established as the sport was developed. In 1891, for instance, the sanctions kick was launched. In 1913 FIFA was appointed to the board of Great Britain's International Football Association. During the 1970 World Cup Finals, red and yellow cards were implemented. Recent notable modifications include the prohibition of goalkeepers to handle deliberate backlog passes in 1992 and red card penalties in 1998.

Some of the top players in history include Pele (Edson Arantes DO Nascimento) from Brazil, who scored 6 goals at 1958 World Copes and helped Brazil take the first title. The Russian Lev Yashin, who claimed he had saved 150 penalty shots during his excellent goal-making career. There are numerous discussions about who the biggest soccer players of all time are; but practically everybody's playing, players such as Zinedine Zidane, Diego Maradona, Michel Platini, Lionel Messi or Roberto Baggio.
