The Hiatus Continues

I haven’t been on JetPunk a lot lately.  I check jp daily, but very briefly.  I read the blogs on rub (which i haven’t really been drawn to, sadly).  I also read the comments on a few select pages, but then i log off.  I haven’t been making blogs, quizzes, or really comments.

I was hoping i (and the rub as a whole) would be more active once my summer break was over, but no.  I promised you guys RUB Times, and a veggie caliphate, but i just never got around to it.  Maybe the fact that I’m making this blog means I’ll be a little bit more active?

Summer was really busy for me and i just didn’t have time for JP.  I was active a lot last school year, but in return that affected my ability to do my schoolwork and learn.  I regret that (as well as a lot of other things i did last year) and want to change that.  I’m in sixth grade this year (the last grade at my elementary school) and i need to be a model student.  Sadly that means less time on JetPunk.  My JetPunk hiatus continues, until i feel like the time is right to return

While I’m here though, I suppose I’ll give a summery of what happened over my summer.  A summer summery (nooo not the bad puns)

I had a lot of summer camps this summer, most of them very boring.  I have a brother who’s about 9, and my parents like to put me in the same camp as home.  That means normally the age range in the camps i was at was really big, and I was stuck with a bunch of 6 year olds.  Most of these camps where from like 9 am to 4 pm for a week long.

I had one fun camp though.  It was called Wilderness Youth.  We basically went to beaches, lakes, and nature spots all around my city that most people had never heard of.  We ended the week with kayaking, and i was tipped.  We also played this really fun variant of a game called Assassin.

One week, my family and I flew to Florida to visit my cousins.  We saw so much cool stuff there, like alligators, armadillos and even a wild manatee.  Sadly, it came with the expense of catching Covid for the first time.

Towards the end of the summer I also went to Lake Arrowhead in San Bernardino county for a few days.  It was pretty cool, and definitely one of the prettiest places I’ve been.
