Review
Rio ended up with a 72% rating by Rotten Tomatoes and a Metacritic score of 63 out of 100. For being an American film, it found quite a lot of success outside of the United States, particularly in Brazil, where it stood for a year as the highest gross on opening weekend for an American film.
Personally, I found this movie to be quite entertaining with very catchy music (the type that can get stuck in your head all day long). At times scenes seemed to be pretty far-fetched for an animated movie, but this didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. I've never been to Brazil myself, but I feel like the movie gives a good insight into the life of Rio/Brazil (maybe MG17 can confirm this). I find the movie overall to be artistic, mildly comedic, and environmentally conscious.
I give it a 3.5 out of 5 star rating.
Main Feature:
Luca
In this animated film, our main character Luca must learn to live with the fact that he can change between being a sea monster and a human, though he doesn't have control over it. Luca finds himself longing to spend more time out of the water, where life is more dangerous.

Review
Luca was a moderate success this year, boasting a 91% approval by Rotten Tomatoes. Metacritic approval rates where somewhat lower however, with 71 out of 100.
Perhaps not up there as one of Pixar's greatest films, I still think this movie is worth the watch. Luca can be appreciated by those of all ages, though the target audience is obviously children. This might not be as much of a "tear-jerker" as other Pixar animated films, but the message and themes are still strong.
I also give it a 3.5 out of 5 star rating.
Have any of you seen either of these films?
If so, what would you rate it/them?
If not, do you see yourself watching it/them in the future?
Do you have any recommendations for films to review?
That's basically me every day lol! Rio movie is AMAZING! I recommend to everyone (as well the part 2, where they go to Amazon!). The good of Rio are the images and art. You basically copied everything! Is so real! And isn't that annoying stereotype. The characters are very nice, and represent really Brazil lol!
also they are in hindi but you can watch with subtitles
