Russian Language Quizzes

Why are they getting so many more takes? To be honest the war might have something to do with it, but is Jetpunk really getting more users from Russia? I noticed that the Provinces of Ukraine quiz has had many more takes as well, so is it just that there is more interest in that part of the world? I did some Russian quizzes a while back, but they weren't getting many takes, so I stopped. Anyway, I am planning some Ukrainian ones shortly - so hopefully they can get some interest as well. As someone with a deep interest in that part of the world, the war saddens me, and I hope we can see an end to hostilities soon.

Number of users from Russia has increased, yes, and all Russian quizzes (and English quizzes related to Russia) and increased massively. For the exact reasons why, we can't be sure. Perhaps with so much of the internet blocked off to Russia (and increasingly so), Russians are having to find other means of entertainment?

Perhaps that is it - just seemed unusual that we would get so many more. Anyway - I feel a bit reluctant to create any more Russian language quizzes at the moment.

Maybe because JetPunk recognises Crimea as part of Russia, it is seen as one of the few Russian-friendly sites remaining in the West.
