Welcome!
I'm sure it's no news to you that this isn't the best time for blogs on JetPunk. While some of us try to uphold the glory of blogging, the blog community has become quite fragmented, uncreative, and boring. Or at least it was that way, until Stewart introduced the new rules. But still, the community isn't as united as it always was, and blogs are few and far between, compared to before. I think what we need to unite our community in this time is a good old flag. We all love flags, right? So how about we have a friendly community project to design a flag for JetPunk? We can all agree that it would be nice to have something to unite the community at this time, and we can have some fun!
Rules
If you're familiar with flag designs then you should know the 5 basic guidelines of flag design, but I will quickly repeat them. Use good symbolism, be unique, use minimal colors, never use text or seals, and keep it simple overall. These don't always have to be exactly followed, but generally try to follow these if you want to enter your flag. For JetPunk in particular, I think it's important to keep it simple as well as emphasize the community. Also, try to incorporate Jeppy somehow, how can we have a flag without Jeppy?! I love Jeppy (he's the fish in the corner by the way)
Preferrably design the flag on a software, like any art app. There are some good ones you can get for free like Autodesk Sketchbook. You can probably also find something online or on your phone, but if you want you could design on paper, and I could redraw it with software to improve it.
How will this work?
So how will this all function? First, design your flag and upload it to Imgbb. Then copy the Image ID and the link to the page and save it somewhere. After a week, comment on this blog with it.
Write , to make the photo show up, OR add a hyperlink using the old say something trick. Preferably a hyperlink to keep the comments neat.
Below it, write about the symbolism.
I will start this contest on the day this is released, and you have one week to make your flag and comment. Exactly after a week, come back to the blog to post it.
I will then upload them all to a Google Form where everyone can vote on everyone's designs, including your own. I will average the score of each one and select a winner! Everyone's welcome to join, I want as many designs as possible, and all of them will be featured in the results blog along with the winners. I will also submit my own but everyone will get to vote on it.
Does that sound good? Are you ready? Then let's begin! Go to your paper or software and draw your flag now! Or whenever you want until November 9. Once again, you have to submit after a week, but it isn't a tight time, so you can post your comment anytime around November 8th to November 10th in your local time, so you don't have to stress about it. And stay tuned for either another blog with the Google form to vote or find it at the end of my next unrelated blog.
Okay! GO! FOR THE GLORY OF JETPUNK!!
Just one question: How many designs can one make and post?

But ok, I think I can try with Paint.
I'd suggest using hyperlinks, or a form where people could submit.

The flag is divided into two stripes having the same colour as the logo – dark blue and light green. They portray the ubiquitous community of this website. In the centre is a white circle, on which the logo is superimposed. The boundary of the central circle is bicoloured – turquoise represents knowledge and red represents passion. Finally, in the left hand side, two bars represent quizzes and blogs – the two main domains of the website. See this flag waving here!
Hope you like it! Here is the emoji of the flag:
Blue/Purple stands for knowledge, and Orange is for creativity. The diagonal represents the unique and changing community. The Red represents the dedication of all users. And Jeppy because Jeppy :D
Green for quizmakers and bloggers
Yellow for workers (QM and Stewart)
Circle for our spirit
Jeppy for JetPunk
here
Blue represents knowledge/wisdom and yellow happiness (from using the site), and additionally these colours are the standard land and ocean colours of SVG maps. The circle represents the world, due to the geographical nature of Jetpunk and its global community while the map of Cyprus in the centre represents the focal point of the site (and the debate about which continent it fits into.)
Blue represents knowledge/wisdom and yellow happiness (from using the site), and additionally these colours are the standard land and ocean colours of SVG maps (also representing the mapmaking aspect of Jetpunk.. The circle represents the world, due to the geographical nature of Jetpunk and its global community while Jeppy represents the site as a whole (fairly obvious.)
I know I’m not gonna win judging by the likes on the comment lol. I think that drawing just has a severe disadvantage
