The Official Flag of JetPunk!

After a few months, the results of the flag contest are finally ready! Thank you to everyone who participated with their flags and all the 37 voters. Here are the flags and their prizes!

With an average rating of 3.54, Aficionado's design is now the official flag of JetPunk!

Here is what it stands for:

"The flag is divided into two stripes having the same colour as the logo – dark blue and light green. They portray the ubiquitous community of this website. In the centre is a white circle, on which the logo is superimposed. The boundary of the central circle is bicoloured – turquoise represents knowledge and red represents passion. Finally, in the left hand side, two bars represent quizzes and blogs – the two main domains of the website"

Congrats Aficionado! You will be honored as JetPunk's official vexillologist, and have your design be used by the JetPunk community as the official flag.

NiobiumVoid gets the silver medal with an average score of 3.51! Here is the symbolism:

"Rate NiobiumVoid's flag! Symbolism: Blue represents knowledge/wisdom and yellow happiness (from using the site), and additionally these colours are the standard land and ocean colours of SVG maps (also representing the mapmaking aspect of JetPunk. The circle represents the world, due to the geographical nature of JetPunk and its global community while Jeppy represents the site as a whole"

This flag will be a secondary flag that can be used as a symbol in the community as well. Congrats!

Third place goes to Angbo, scoring an average of 3.47!

Here is the meaning:

"Blue for quizzers, Green for quizmakers and bloggers, Yellow for workers (QM and Stewart) Circle for our spirit, Jeppy for JetPunk"

This flag will be incorporated into a JetPunk shield, that will be another symbol alongside the flag.
