Atayal Language
The Atayal Language is found on the northern parts of the island of Taiwan and are spoken by the native Atayal people on the island. It is one of the many Austronesian languages. It is a really unique one and uses the Latin script. One thing to note is that it also has its own dialects but there are only two though.
Xhosa Language
Found in the nations of South Africa and Zimbabwe, The language is spoken by 8.2 million people and also considered a second language in parts of South Africa. It is part of the Nguni Family and is also spoken in Botswana. Like most languages in the area, it is a Bantu language and could be similar to the Zulu Language aswell.
Gurung Language
Spoken in the nation of Nepal and also to some extend, Bhutan. The language is part of the Sino-Tibetan Family and also probably one of the most interesting ones as the grammar of it is different like for example: Each word requires only three suffixes in it, Pretty interesting, Right? Its also spoken in parts of India and is classified as a official language in the nation.
Faroese Language
By its name, You may know it is spoken in the Danish territory of the Faroe Islands. But this one also interests me alot. It actually descends from Old West Norse spoken in Medieval Times and also has it's own braille system which fascinates me alot! Though not related to Icelandic. It is sometimes quite similar which is possible as most Nordic languages seem to be intelligible to each other. Interesting!
Dhivehi Language
Lets do one more, This is actually the official language of the Maldives, A island nation in Indian Ocean which actually interests me alot. It also has its interesting history of it on how it evolved and can be similar to languages like Portuguese for example. I wont consider this obscure but since its fascinating. I include it as a bonus.
