How does one discover JetPunk?

In 2013, I was interested in finding cities in each time zone so I could see all 24 hours of the day represented on my iPod Touch's World Clock feature. I did a Google search. I clicked on the best link I could find. Suddenly, a timer was counting down, and I was supposed to type the answers to what I had previously been trying to look up. It jolted me a bit, but my academic sense kicked in, and I began typing. I can't remember my score, but I remembered the site: JetPunk. After seeing the vast array of quizzes on many topics, I decided to create an account. My highest score on the quiz "Biggest City in Time Zones" stands at 25, from that year.

The quiz-making feature was cool. I created geography-type quizzes to start, my first of which, "Cities by Country" got a few clicks. I had the pleasure of dealing with my first comment (rightfully) asking for something to be fixed. I made a sequel to the quiz, with the same backwards title (it should be Countries by City), and attracted one of the site's most prolific users, Kalbahamut, to comment. I was off and running. My first quizzes had some goods and bads. My most popular quiz for a while, "Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Gold Medalists", I was proud of. Meanwhile, I had to delete another quiz because of how misinformed it was. Two of my three current most popular non-featured quizzes, "MLB 2k covers" and "Top 5 Biggest Planes", weren't even made by me! It's hard to say which types of quizzes will be winners, though creative geography ones are always good candidates.

Two of my quizzes have been featured, which gave me a big head around the day I was informed and the day they saw the front page. It certainly is rewarding to get a quiz featured. I didn't even care that my quiz was being updated to use different data, the Quizmaster himself had sent me an email! My two featured quizzes are essentially quizzes that had been done for world cities, but I made a U.S. only version. Who says this site is too America-centric?

Changes to this site have been few and far between, but usually winners. Liking comments was big. Map quizzes have improved. Badges are cool. This blog? Not that bad. I can still enjoy old quizzes, and be thankful for all the knowledge that has seeped into my head over the past six years. I can look at my level, and think, "nice." I appreciate this site, a community of which only exists on these webpages, few compared to the whole of the internet, but many in terms of the amount of quizzes that have been made. To many more years of JetPunk!

I found Jetpunk after looking up Countries of the world app. I had been studying my globe and wanted to quiz myself. After trying Seterra and not really liking it, I found jetpunk, and around a month later, I created an account.
