I believe "Exorcise" is the preferred spelling over "Exorcize" but it wasn't accepted. Never thought to try it with a z.

Darn it. I thought expatriate was spelled expatriot. I tried it three times. And no, I'm not going to tell the quizmaster that he should accept an incorrect spelling. I hate when people do that. Learn how to spell it correctly, like I did with expatriate.

I think "extort" should work because it isn't clear that blackmail is a noun, it could also be a verb, hence "extort" would then be the appropriate pairing.
