Nailed it! Even got a few I didn't think I knew. Knowing a second language makes some of these easier.

I missed the three that everyone else seems to have missed as well, but that's all.

Drats, misspelled seraphim and paparazzo. Straight up missed poltergeister, louse and genera. 28/33 is still cool

You should also accept 'alumna' as singular of alumni. It's the feminine form of alumnus.

for rosen: no they are correct. alumna would have a plural of alumnae not alumni. hooray for eighth grade Latin!

I know alumnae is for women but is that not allowed? ):

The plural form given here is "alumni", so "alumnus" is the only correct answer for it. The female singular and plural forms are alumna and alumnae. I got 100% on this with 5 seconds left... I had to dig deep for poltergeist.

@rchaff that's what stigmata is usually associated with, especially because of the movie. but stigmata is literally the plural form of stigma, meaning a mark, sore, or brand left on something. stigmata are the marks left on a person representing the wounds of christ, but the word stigma, or stigmata, is not used for religious purposes alone.
