Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers should be acceptable answers as well for Greg Focker. Also, it says "movies or series" therefore Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, USMC should be acceptable answers for Private Pyle, as that is ACTUALLY where Private Pyle comes from.

I think it says series so you pick the first in a series of movies as the answer. Quizmaster?

Yeah, Gomer Pyle or Andy Griffith Show not being acceptable for Private Pyle is a tad silly.

25/26...I'm a Yankee fan, but I live in New York so every time I hear, "Mookie" I think of former Met Mookie Wilson, the man who hit the ball that went under Bill Buckner's legs to win game 6 of the 1986 World Series for the Mets...who of course won game 7 too, to beat the Red Sox for the title.

I remember Mookie Wilson from his brief stint in Toronto after leaving the Mets. :)

"Your my boy Blue!" love the Old School reference, 2nd funniest movie of all time behind The Hangover

I agree with griffey5050; the quiz is called "MOVIE Characters" after all, so I don't think television programs are implied by the word "series," but rather a series of films like the "Shrek" films, etc.

you honestly think "the Hangover" is the funniest movie of all time? I think it might be in the top 20ish maybe...I won't rank them but here are a few that are absolutely laugh out loud funnier than the Hang over... Space Balls, Blazing saddles, Robin Hood men in Tights, Young Frankenstein, Dumb and Dumber, Something about Mary, Me myself and Irene, Airplane, Old School, Big Lebowski, Outside Providence, History of the World Part 2, the original american pie, and Anchorman...It's in the same realm of like 40 year old virgin, knocked up, step brothers, and pretty much every will ferrell movie besides anchorman. I mean do you ever hear anyone quote the hangover? Thats really how comedies should be judged, and there isn't one memorable line from that movie....I didn't mean to get all comedy snob on anyone, but when people say that movie is at the top of their list it drives me crazy...dont get me wrong it was a funny movie, but there are definately much funnier and more memorable comedies than it.

24/26 never heard of Slap Shot and could not make 'Old School' pop in my head. Even thought I knew the movie.

slap shot is a hockey movie from the early 80's (believe thats when it was made anyway)...Paul Newman is the only real star in it, but its like the Major League of hockey movies....if you've seen the Mighty Ducks..the Hanson Brothers were like the "Bash Brothers"...probably the inspiration for the characters.

The Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket had nothing to do with "Gomer" Pyle.

Challenge Accepted @glennish731!! I will quote The Hangover - "Not this weekend, the Jonas Brothers are in town. Any week after that is fine." ALSO "I hate Godzilla too, he destroys cities!!" ALSO "I didn't know they gave out rings at the Holocaust." ALSO "You are literally too stupid to insult." ALSO "IN THE FACE!!!" That's all I got for the moment... BTW, the Bash Brothers were the bomb :P

No offence glennish731 but I don't think you're about to be accused of being a comedy snob with that list of movies. Maybe if you thought comedy died with Charlie Chaplin and the Marx Brothers...

Not a huge deal, but the correct spelling is "Spider-Man," with the hyphen. If this were any forum other than a knowledge-based website, I would keep my nitpicking to myself, especially since the correct version is still acceptable.
