"Peafowl," huh?

@Wildman1056, yep! Peafowl is the gender neutral term for the bird. Peacock is for males, and peahen for females. The bird in the picture is a peacock, but the species is called peafowl. :)

In ancient Egyptian culture, the god of knowledge and writing was Thoth, and he had the head of an ibis.

Uh, hate the 'sacred' ibis! Those dudes think they're soooo special and walk up to you and steal your food!

Got all on first try. But I'm a birdwatcher so I guess that's expected.

How can anyone not know the ibis? It's what makes Australian amusement parks so exciting and unpredictable. Will it run up and steal a chip? No! It will run up and steal ALL the chips. And knock your drink over on top of you so that you're too busy to chase it. A few of these birds are native or common to Australia and the areas around it, so I did better than usual. 18/20.

My only criticism is that the test validates answers based on the last names - it doesn't matter what kind of warbler or ibis etc that a species is. I don't know if that is something that can be controlled but it would be good to make it stricter.

If you accept hawk for the falcon, then you should accept vulture for condor
