Minnesota should be accepted for Minneapolis

Even by the most liberal definition of metro area I don't think anyone would contend that the metro area of Minneapolis encompasses the entire state of Minnesota.

I think his comment was meant to reflect that the Vikings are the Minnesota Vikings, the Twins are also Minnesota Twins...even if both really play in Minneapolis and not in, say, Duluth, or in St. Paul, where the Saints play.

I didn't really "mistake" it; just wasn't thinking about Canadians, and I got all 41 US cities with lots of time to spare. Was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how I was missing a city with 3 major sports teams... Toronto. Not much of a hockey fan, so the others, pfft.

Soccer is a great sport. But, if you added MLS I Think the only city that would be added would be San Jose because technically San Jose Is Not In the San Francisco Metropolitan Area.

Except San Jose is part of the San Francisco Bay Area and is included in this quiz with the San Jose Sharks.

United States Now, tell me which countries have soccer as their national sport. 1. All of South America 2. Western Europe (All countries from Norway to Greece) 3. Southeast Asia (Countries from Indonesia to Thailand and Cambodia) 4. Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, etc) 5. All of Africa (Except South Africa)

Much improved, Quizmaster. No more problems with Newark, East Rutherford, Foxborough, and the like. Only minor quibble is that, while I think it's great that you accept Newark for NYC metro and San Jose for San Francisco metro, you should extend the same courtesy to St. Paul, St. Petersburg, and Anaheim.
