Turd Blossom? Really? Okay. That's hilarious. Although, I kind of prefer thinking of him as a giant ham loaf with glasses.

I'm guessing the lack of people getting snooki is because no one could spell her last name, I had to look it up. It would be nice to accept a phonetic spelling,

I have never heard of Karl Rove being called Turd Blossom, but few things make me happier.

Can we leave out political commentary in questions? This is offensive.

What about Ditka for Iron Mike? Though I know Tyson is perhaps better known.

For Oz, I tried prison and dream world. For Coco, I tried Chanel and Crisp. Conan O'Brien is Coco? Oz is Australia? Where have I been??

Bob Saget
Strong Island was also the name of Kosrae, an island in Micronesia. It was the only Strong Island I know.

How is Oz so low? I thought everyone knew Australians were Aussies...

Oh god....are you serious? Thats where the nickname came from?!?! Oh dear god. I did a kind of mental doubletake when I saw that. Facepalm!

Middle Kingdom is not a nickname. China's name for itself in Chinese is Zhongguo, which translates literally as "central nation" or more poetically as "middle kingdom." It's a translation, not a nickname.

"The Rock" was Gibraltar for centuries before Alcatraz was even built, Coco has been Coco Chanel for 70 years, the Middle Kingdom is a nickname for part of the Egyptian Pharonic period and is NOT a nickname when it come to China - and is frankly for more well known in the case of Egypt, I eventually got all of these right, once I tried every spelling of the more correct answer for each, but really you should add some alternatives, PARTICULARLY when its the better known alternative than your answer. And living in NYC and its environs for almost 50 years, I have NEVER heard the expression "Strong Island" in reference to Long Island. Ever. Not once. Again, I got it right but only when no logical answer worked and I figured, well, the rest of this has some odd answers, why not guess...?

Tough and fun! The Rock in Canada refers to the province of Newfoundland!

In Australia, we just call McDonald's Maccas. I never refer to it as Oz either, I know that it pretty common, but it seems weird to me. There is no Emerald Palace at the end of a Yellow Brick Road past a field of Poppie's that I'm aware of...
