Wildman1056 | Everyone knows Wisconsin is the badger State. 2011-01-11 |
Greg G | Agreed. And Illinois is the Prairie State 2011-04-14 |
acer9199 | Yes to the above comments. I have been to many tattoo ceremonies where each state receives a cannon shot. Alabama is sometimes Cotton or Yellowhammer. Arizona is also Copper. Minnesota is Land of 10,000 Lakes. Delaware-Diamond. Arizona-Copper. Alaska-Midnight Sun. Maine-Vacation (that's BS, but I've seen tests that use it before). Michigan-wolverine. Nevada-sage/sagebrush. There's more, but these are by and large the biggest discrepancies. 2011-05-11 |
yocoy | Accept "Badger State" for Wisconsin. 2011-05-12 |
The Gambler | this quiz was the gateway to this site for me. i just wanted to make sure i knew all of the nicknames and now im addicted to all the quizzes. 2011-06-19 |
BuckDonk | Wolverines are just the mascot of the University of Michigan. There aren't even any wolverines living in Michigan. It's absolutely the Great Lakes State. 2011-07-04 |
katiclement | OK's license plates say "Native America," so that's what I guessed. And I've always heard MN called the Land of 10,000 Lakes, too. 2011-07-10 |
mjellerson | Maine is the Pine Tree State. "Vacationland" is printed on some license plates but as a Mainer I've never known that to be an authorized nickname. 2011-07-23 |
bukes44 | MN is also the Gopher State. 2011-08-01 |
justchuck | Maryland is also known as The Free State 2011-09-07 |
Englishrose | I don't know many of these but I thought I knew salad bowl state - evidently not. 2011-10-10 |
stoughtontwig32 | Wisconsin calls ourselves America's Dairyland so I agree with you. MN is either Gopher state or Land of 10,000 lakes. I also agree with illinois being land of lincoln. 2011-11-10 |
