I got every one between 1970 and 1995. You know, when music was good.

Agreed. I got all between 63 and 95 except Barry Sadler--all I remembered was Barry. Never even heard of Gotye.

Got all between '67 & '88...most of that was actually music!!

Yep, I was crushin' it, right up until 1989. The rest was one big dumpster fire after that. My guessing, that is, not the songs. (although a fairly strong case could be made for that :-))

A lot of the songs on this list from that era are terrible. Get over yourself. There is still a lot of good music out. It's just not on the radio. Thanks for disco, by the way.

I got all of them for the years I've been alive ('79) except Chicago. I was singing the song in my head but couldn't remember who it was. I only got a handful of the older ones.

I got all from 70 to 90 and they all sucked. Popular music almost never means good music, whatever the year

Psy made it to number 2 on the Billboard charts, though! That's the highest a Korean song has ever made it. But "Somebody That I Used to Know" is still the better song anyway.

Ha! Here in New Zealand, Kimbra (from Hamilton, just down the road) got equal billing with Gotye from Belgium.

I'm impressed with you. I listened to it on the radio when it came out so I would have been shamed not to have gotten it. Am mad at self for not remembering Lulu. I knew she had only one name but just couldn't remember it.

Careless Whisper was definitely George Michael in the UK. For some reason it was credited to Wham! In the US and a couple of other countries. Michael should be allowed - he sang it solo.

Crazy that Michael Jackson nor the Bee Gees never had one and even crazier that only one artist did it twice. All hail Paul who is three times greater than any not named John, George or Ringo. He's just 50% better than them :)
