I don't think anyone refers to MLK as Jr. Everyone knows the 3rd Monday in January is his birthday but I bet no-one tried entering JR; this quiz should drop the Jr.

Where is Easter!?!
Quizmaster replies:
It's not a comprehensive list. Mostly I left off Easter because it's hard to say when it is

You're missing a lot of holidays. I would overlook what you said because a lot of the ones I could think of such as Kwanza, Hanukkah, May Day, etc. were all not apart of that list.

for all those who posted asking about easter....read the comments before you....as the quizmaster says, easter is not on any set day, it's based off the liturgical calendar

Could you accept Remembrance Day for November 11 cause in some countries (eg. Australia) that's what it's called and I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as Veterans day.
Quizmaster replies:
Normally I would, but this quiz is called U.S. holidays.

9/20, but I'm an Aussie. I just guessed Washington :D You guys have more holiday's than us...

High Fidelity
I think the US have less actual holidays (days off work) than Australia- many of these aren't public holidays- I wouldn't call Mothers' or Fathers' Day in Aus a holiday but we still celebrate it. Same goes for Valentine's, St Pats, April Fools etc.

I know you said you left off Easter because it is hard to say when it is, but I spent some precious time typing it in again in different ways, thinking I'd messed up. Just say spring for the time if you have to.
