States by Number of Train Stations/Stops

Name the top 15 states by number of active train station stops. This includes all stations of rail-based public transit systems, such as intercity rail (namely Amtrak), commuter rail, subway/rapid transit systems, light rail systems, streetcar/tram systems, etc.
To simplify calculations, stations serving multiple systems were counted multiple times.
Tourist/excursional railway stations/systems are not included (i.e. SF cable car system).
Heritage streetcars can be included if they are substantially used for public transit.
Also does not include airport people movers (i.e. JFK AirTrain).

PA was inflated by a very large number of streetcar stops.
