Normandy was not a US vs Germany -- you need to include the UK and Canada. In addition there were also Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Free French and Belgian forces. In the D-day landings there were about 70,000 American, 60, 000 British and 20,000 Canadians. Some of the Canadians numbers probably included Polish troops who were assigned to the Canadian 2nd Army.

I know. I just put only one war party per side as an example and hint. Otherwise it'll be to difficult to mention every war member which took part. We all know war is most likely not only one country against another.

But I should put it into the description. Thanks :)
