Can you name every country with at least 2000 kilometers of coastline in the year 1500?
Includes oceanic seas and inlets; excludes lakeshore and the Caspian Sea.
Due to their complexity, most of the German and Italian states are unified under one single entity. States with territory outside of this entity are also included.

Madja-as is grayed out because its estimate was very rough; maps on it besides the one linked above were hard to find, so I wasn't able to figure out how many small islands it controlled. Arakan (in Myanmar) with 1900 kilometers and Bani Khalid (in the Middle East) with 1750 kilometers were other close misses.

Thanks. But why do you include the Caspian Sea? Surely if you include that,you should also include all other inland "seas" (a.k.a. Lakes), which would make the quiz utterly impossible to write.
