What criteria were used in determining what's Eastern Europe and what's not? How can Greece and Czechia both be considered Eastern, while Finland is not?

Lithuania is majority Catholic too, which is not mentioned.

And Ukraine borders the Black Sea too.

Greece Is Considered Eastern Europe Due To The Fact That Is Majority Orthodox Czechia Is Considered Eastern Europe Because It Was Once Communist And Finland Is Not Considered Eastern Europe Because The Vast Majority Of People Will Say So
