Literary Terms - 5 stages of a story

The beginning of a story. The part before the action where the readers learn about the characters, setting, and the problem

Events that lead up to the climax. Introduces many conflicts that happen in the story.

The most intense part of the story. Usually includes lots of action.

Events that come after the climax that lead up to the resolution

The conclusion. The readers now usually understand any gaps to the story
