Arabic is a native language in Israel. It was recognised as an official language until a contentious piece of legislation in 2018, but that law did not remove its native status or its widespread use within Israel.
21 per cent of the population of Israel (not counting Palestinians in the occupied territories) speak Arabic as their first language. It was recognised as an official language until 2018 and is still in use. Arabic certainly IS spoken in Israel, by native Israeli citizens, although it is a minority language.
