It was hard to classify any wars in Europe in WWII, and these are the only war related events I could find (Terrorist Attacks, Cold war deaths from forced labor of the Soviet Union, and other attacks I won't consider as wars). The Russo-Ukrainian conflict started in 2014 and includes the invasion of Crimea (6 deaths), the current invasion of Ukraine, and the Donbas (13,000-14,000 deaths, since 2014). Will be updated every so often. Comment any conflicts you think should be here, mistakes, or type ins.
Maybe split Yugoslav wars, it is a common name given to several totally unrelated conflicts. Slovenian war of independence (1991) has nothing to do with Bosnia (92-95), which has nothing to do with Kosovo (98-99) and Macedonia (2001).
Russian invasion of Georgia is not considered Europe?
First and Second chechen war inside Russia perhaps?
Turkish invasion of Northern Cyprus?
All 3 wars in Nagorno-Karabakh (1988-94, 2016 and 2020) are not considered as Europe?
- Basque / ETA insurgency (Spain)
- Year of Lead (Italy)
Those definitely should be considered.
