Hope this quiz wasn't too difficult. I considered giving the "Extreme Cities" as free answers, but it didn't feel right to make a quiz about northernmost cities and not include Longyearbyen. To clarify, I only included settlements that have civilian populations, and not just military or other professional personel. Alert, Canada would be the northernmost in that case. The northenmost "city" isn't even on this quiz--Ny-Ålesund with a population of 35. I had to be subjective when making this quiz. There were too many European cities so I couldn't include cities such as Tampere or Tallinn due to not having enough room for them. Other cities were too small for my ruleset, but still northern enough, including Nuuk and Iqaluit.

Haven't the name of Barrow officially changed to Utqiagvik ?

Yes, it did. I chose to display the name Barrow due to it being the most common name, but Utqiagvik is accepted as a type in.

I like this quiz, but I can't believe I missed Longyearbyen.

P.S.: You might want to not make the Arctic Circle a zoomable circle

Fixed, thank you. I guess I must of copied one of the cities when drawing the Arctic Circle and forgotten to change the class.

Another amazing quiz. 16/18, missed the Canadian and Greenlandic ones (though I was expecting to see Resolute). And congrats on 1,000,000 takes yesterday!

Thank you, and thank you! Resolute is the second northernmost town (with a civilian population) in Canada, but I only let obscure locals on this quiz when they were notable in some way or another (to try and keep the quiz fun!)
