I think 'Schleswig' should be an acceptable answer for Denmark/ Germany given the historic region was divided between the two in 1920. Good idea for a quiz - thanks!

Could you add Ulster for Ireland/UK? Also maybe Fennoscandia for Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, but I understand if not

Yes, I will add Ulster, thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure about Fennoscandia, it's only a geographical region, not a cultural-historical one

Bukovina is the correct answer, not Moldavia (for Moldova/Ukraine/Romania). You can Banat for Romania/Serbia/Hungary, and Bessarabia for Ukraine/Moldova.
