For this quiz, you must name every country whose coastline meets the Pacific Ocean. Starting with Chile, go up along South America's coastline and continue along the Pacific Ocean border. You will end with Malaysia. This Ocean's border is complex, so try your best. Good luck!
Even though Malaysia's land mass is two separate pieces, Brunei is not included since it is located entirely on an island.
I've given you the island countries, so you don't need to type them. Since you must go in order along the Pacific Coastline, there is no true place for the Island countries. However, they still border the Pacific Ocean.
Not sure that I entirely follow your logic here. You start off (on the American side) by not repeating the name of a country, even when the coast re-enters it - e.g. it would go USA-Canada-USA-Canada-USA. But then you repeat Malaysia for no apparent reason, even when it's border with Brunei is on an island (which you specifically excluded in the instructions). Please explain.
To respond to your comment, I actually forgot about Alaska. Don't know how I did this, but I did. About Malaysia, the country has two islands, which basically connects Thailand to Indonesia via Malaysia's land. It would be weird if I didn't include Malaysia's other half of the country. Island countries I exclude are countries whose territory shares no other land border with any other country, an example being the Philippines. I end with Indonesia because Malaysia shares a border with this country. I also feel it would be weird if I left out Brunei, even though it clearly shares a border with Malaysia, even though the second half of Malaysia is an island. The USA-Canada border will be fixed, and I hope you understand my reasoning for why I included Malaysia's second half, even though it is still an island.
NOTE: Brunei is now entirely out of the quiz. You will now end with Malaysia, excluding Brunei. I do understand that Malaysia's other half and Brunei are located on separate islands, so I have taken them out.
