Germany has participated in every single contest except for 1996 which makes a total of 67 entries. The UK and France both have 65 participations and Belgium has 64.

Andorra never qualified for the final in their time in Eurovision (2004-2009), Morocco appeared once, Montenegro twice and Slovakia three times.

After that, Yugoslavia disolved. In the next year, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia, which became independent from Yugoslavia, had their first appearence in the Contest.

This happened when seven countries (Estonia, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, Hungary, Russia and Poland) all debuted at the same time

Despite only getting 3rd place at the 1958 ESC, Volare was known all over the world and received three Grammys (Best Song, Best Recording and Best Male Vocals).

This happened when Denise Fabre and Léon Zitrone hosted together the Eurovision, at the time, helded in Paris, France.

Katie Boyle holds the record for presenting the Eurovision the most times, presenting in 1960, 1963, 1968 and 1974. Petra Mede and Jacqueline Joubert presented the Eurovision two times each (2013/2016 and 1959/1961 respectively). Terry Wogan only presented in 1998.

Latvia has finished "Dead Last" 5 times in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2021. San Marino finished " Dead Last" 3 times, Andorra once and Bulgaria never placed "Dead Last".

Lithuania and Portugal, both scored 0 points in their debuts.

Luxembourg and Ukraine never missed a final since their debuts in 1956 and 2003, both Russia and Sweden only missed the final once and Serbia missed the final three times.
