Yes, please accept other versions of "unlocks" like: unlock, unlock doors, etc. I tried everything I could think of.

I typed in "unlocks doors" "opens doors" "unlock" - none of which worked for 'unlocks' - very annoying

not sure how "unlocks doors" won't work for "unlocks" but ok...

- The United Kingdom isn't a country. The books are set in England.
- One of the questions says 'what time of animal is it?', which should be 'what type of animal is it?'
Other than that, a nice little quiz!

The United Kingdom is a country, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are areas within the country.

Nope you're wrong. England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland are all countries in their own right.. the UK is the collection.. it's like saying the West Indies is one country when really it's a collection of countries

If we are getting all technical England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are all countries in Britain, however The republic of Ireland broke away from the United Kingdom leaving Northern Island still a part of the UK. We are not America where we have States bigger than some countries, we have counties within the 4 countries. So please get your Geography right before you embarrass yourself anymore.

Oh yes it is! The UK is a country and don't you forget it. Why do people post comments that make them sound like idiots? Geez.

The UK is a sovereign state consisting of four separate countries, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What "time" of animal? You really didn't catch that?
Sep 16, 2012 delete reply

Peeves isn't technically a ghost. He's a poltergeist. The author takes care to point that out in the book so...
Also, I agree with everyone about the "unlock" thing.

I feel bad now that I put McGonagol since Dumbledore died and all.. Bummer. Maybe should say 'before the Half-Blood Prince'?
Sep 17, 2012 delete reply
JohnnyP
In that case, technically, Snape took over as headmaster after Dumbledore died.
Sep 17, 2012 delete reply
Silentcewing
A) Spoiler Alert much?
B) McGonnagal was temporarily headmistress, between Dumbledore dying and the beginning of the next school year, as evidenced by Dumbledore's office accepting her.

Quite easy for me, but still enjoyable. Don't change it to Christmas Ball, it is only ever called the Yule Ball in the books or the movie. Also, I think the picture up top looks like Selena Gomez, does anyone agree?

For what type of animal Hedwig is I put snowy owl like 10 times and I couldn't figure out what it was. Please accept snowy owl because that's what type of animal Hedwig is, and is much more specific than just "owl".

If you guys are gonna get all picky, Snape should be listed as "before the sixth". Since Slughorn took over Potions Master.

A couple things:
-The colors for Ravenclaw are blue AND bronze
-Dumbledore is headmaster in part of the 5th, 6th, and 7th books
-Snape taught D.A.D.A. in the 7th, and Slughorn taught Potions then
-The basilisk never killed any in the 2nd year
-Hogwarts is located in Scotland (Thanks, Pottermore)
Sorry, I'm OCD

I had to laugh at reading these comments. The first one I saw was "Who is Peeves?" I realize not everyone has read the books. It made me laugh nonetheless. And please do not change Yule Ball to accept Christmas Ball as an answer. It was NEVER called the Christmas Ball. I loved this quiz.
