Wow, very tough. Could you add "Mannstein" as a spelling?

Technically, Nimitz is not a general but an Admiral

You're right. Actually a third of these men isn't a general, but 'who is that war leader?' sounds rather clunky.

Why is Von Runstedt not accepted? Gerd Von Runstedt is! And 'Doenitz' is the accepted way in ENGLISH to spell Dönitz, since English has no umlaut.

Hard quiz for me. Erwin Rommel was an easy guess though.

Good quiz. Slim deserves to be much better known. A better general and a better man than Montgomery.

I wish there were some non-ww2 generals (grant, sherman?, napoleon's marshalls). Nice quiz!

Nice. Good to have Belisarius on there. I didn't recognise Patton without his helmet.

When I pressed the "give up" button and had a look, something told me that Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque would be the least guessed... I wasn't wrong...... Even writing his name is like some kind of spelling test

Nimitz, Yamamoto, etc. were admirals, who, like generals, are "flag officers." Maybe change the quiz title to "Who is that Flag Officer?" Just a suggestion, I liked the quiz.
