Type-ins will be added in an update soon!

Can you facilitate the type-ins because some German, Italian, French, Spanish ... states are really hard when you need to type the complete name.

Thanks for your comment, but I made it deliberately so. I know most other quizzes, for example, accept 'Baden' for 'Baden-Württemberg'. But I find that strange: should both Dakotas light up in the US states quiz, when you just type 'Dakota'? I don't think so. Just 'Pomerania' should likewise not be acceptable for four different regions on this map. We've been spoiled on this website :)

Different orders, variants and misspellings are accepted in this quiz, however: 'Wuertemburg Baden' is a type-in, so maybe that helps a little bit.

I just did the quiz myself and realized it needed more time, so I added four minutes. That should help, too!

My only question is why the first level subdivisions of the UK aren't just England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland?

I like the quiz, but I would've loved one more minute. I don't consider myself specially slow but time ran out and I was still typing.

Thanks for such strict type-ins. I finally found out how to spell "Occitanie" and dispensed with the Ivano and the two Pomeranias!

Could you add type-ins to make the Shires in England easier to type? (e.g. to answer Staffordshire, you would only need to type 'Stafford')

Three of these are not *first-level* subdivisions though. Looking at the UK, Netherlands and Belgium.

England is a subdivision of the UK, the counties are second order divisions so they shouldn't count

Very interesting that not more counties show up for Romania, I guess that they are all pretty small
